What does Thanksgiving mean to you?  We often concentrate on the family gatherings, big meals...with turkey, and football games. Wikipedia has this to say about Thanksgiving: Thanksgiving Day is a harvest festival celebrated primarily in the United States and Canada. Traditionally, it has been a time to give thanks for a bountiful harvest. While it may have been religious in origin, Thanksgiving is now primarily identified as a secular holiday.[1] It is sometimes casually referred to as Turkey Day.

This Thanksgiving Day, let's remember what we truly have to be thankful for. Let's take a good, hard look around us and realize that while we may not have everything we want, what we want is not always what we need.

I am often humbled when I see the devastation in other countries, and I know I can never be grateful enough that I was born in a free country and have had the advantages of the American lifestyle my entire life.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Day.
